Giving Back
Wilkes-Barre Lawyers
Distasio, Kowalski & Yelen are Wilkes-Barre lawyers committed to giving back to the community.
Attorneys Dan Distasio, Michael Kowalski, Jeffrey Yelen, and Robert West were all raised in NEPA. They chose to raise their families and build careers representing clients in northeast Pennsylvania, close to the communities in which they were raised. Because the DKY attorneys are rooted in this area, they realize the importance of supporting the local community. Giving back has and always will be an important focus of our firm.
Supporting NEPA Charities
Through the years, the Distasio, Kowalski & Yelen personal injury firm has contributed to many local community and national charitable organizations. As Wilkes-Barre lawyers, we focus our funds where we feel we can make the most local impact. This includes local charities and organizations that benefit children, focus on education and economic development, and improve the overall health and well-being of the entire community. A small sampling of those organizations helping children that have benefited from our contributions includes CASA of Luzerne County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, KISS Theatre, and Osterhout Free Library. Those receiving support that focuses on health and well-being include Maternal & Family Health Services, the American Cancer Society, St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen, the Walk to end Breast Cancer, and the Wounded Warrior Project among many others. We hope you will join us in supporting the local community.
